Security

Learn how Swift Fix protects customer data, controls access, and responds to security events across the platform.

Last updated: July 7, 2026

Our commitment

Swift Fix is built for facility operators who depend on accurate maintenance records, vendor compliance, and operational continuity. We take security seriously and design our platform to protect customer data across portfolios, sites, and user roles.

Infrastructure and hosting

The Swift Fix platform is hosted on modern cloud infrastructure with network protections, monitoring, and redundancy designed to maintain availability. Production systems are separated from development environments, and access to infrastructure is restricted to authorised personnel.

Access controls

We apply layered access controls, including:

  • Role-based permissions so users only access the workspaces, sites, and features assigned to them.
  • Authentication safeguards for platform accounts and administrative access.
  • Audit trails for key operational actions within customer workspaces.
  • Principle of least privilege for internal support and engineering access.

Data protection

Data in transit is protected using industry-standard encryption. Sensitive credentials and secrets are stored using secure mechanisms appropriate to their use. Backups and recovery processes are in place to reduce the risk of data loss.

Operational security

We maintain logging, monitoring, and incident response practices to detect and respond to security events. Security updates are applied to platform components on an ongoing basis. Vendors and subprocessors that support hosting, email, or infrastructure are reviewed for appropriate security practices.

Customer responsibilities

Security is a shared responsibility. Customers should:

  • Use strong passwords and limit admin access to trusted staff.
  • Review user roles regularly and remove access when no longer required.
  • Avoid sharing login credentials across teams or vendors.
  • Report suspected security issues to Swift Fix promptly.

Incident reporting
